WD Fly Fishing Outfitters and Fly Shop is proud to offer a great group of guides. The combined years and hours spent working in the fly fishing industry, tying flies, and fishing is staggering when you look at this group.

 

Yes we each have differences, sometimes we will get into arguments about which fly is fishing the

best or what rod and reel is the best on the market (trust me it's Scott Fly Rods and Hatch Reels).

It's true what they say
About where trout live
Your breath it will take
But to your soul it will give

Whether your baking in the sun
Or there's a gently falling snow
If you think the trout are there
That's where you will go

There's a pentance you must pay
For being in this place
You must forget about the world
Forget about the race

For that is why god, put trout here
They are his gift to ease the mind
He put them in such a beautiful place
So as to leave your cares behind

So when you spend a day out on the water
And see that subtle gulp, and then you set
We hope all your day's are fruitful

One thing we all have in common is a true passion for the sport of fly fishing. We were taught at a young age to take pride in whatever it is you do. That has certainly carried over into our line of work. We feel that it is our job to make sure you are taken care of on the river and in the shop. Our

goal at WD Fly Fishing Outfitters and Fly Shop is to make sure that you have a great time on the water and go home with a new trick to fool your resident fish.

 

As your guide we want to make sure you are confident and comfortable on the water. We are a very approachable group of fellas and will take the time to make sure you have a firm understanding about all the parts of fly fishing.
